What does your role entail?
I’m Accountable for the successful performance of the team. Ensuring that the team morale is good, helping remove impediments and ensuring that the team are working and collaborating well.
What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day for me includes guiding and coaching the team. I will try to remove any obstacles that could get in the way of a successful outcome. I facilitate team ceremonies that improve practices and promote commitment, focus, openness, respect and courage within the work that we deliver.
What’s the best bit about your job?
The best bit about my job is helping people improve their processes and seeing how different team members come together to work towards the same goal.

Any advice for getting into Delivery Management?
If you want to get into Delivery Management I’d recommend getting the PSM1 Scrum Master certification to aid in the knowledge of best practices. Being a Delivery Manager, you would need to be someone who values the team’s success over your own. Planning, problem-solving and communication play a big part in this role so you would need to get these skills up to scratch!
